CBCW announces that Dr. Lata K. McGinn presented at the 7th International Congress of Cognitive Psychotherapy in Istanbul, Turkey. The conference was held June 2-5, 2011. Dr. McGinn conducted a workshop titled "Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Social Anxiety Disorder: A Comprehensive Approach to Maximize and Gains" and presented a symposium on CBT for the 21st Century with Drs. CBCW is excited to announce that Dr. Michelle Greenberg is recruiting members for a group using the Coping Power manual, which will help members (10-12 years old) to cope with anger, focus their attention, and organize effectively. An accompanying parenting group will assist caregivers with reinforcing skills learned in group and decreasing problem behaviors.
