CBCW announces that Dr. Sarah Reynolds is an invited speaker at an upcoming conference on treatments for borderline personality disorder. This annual conference is sponsored by Yale University and the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEA-BPD), and will focus on similarities and differences between two leading treatments for BPD: dialectical behavior therapy and mentalization-based therapy. Dr. Reynolds is part of the expert panel that will provide demonstrations and lead discussion on the distinctive features of DBT. Mental health professionals, clients, and families are encouraged to attend. The conference will be held on Thursday/Friday, April 14-15 at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Dr. Jennifer Steinberg has joined a research study headed by Dr. Lata McGinn and a team of investigators investigating the efficacy of a new cognitive behavioral intervention protocol for pharmacologically-induced depression. This research is being conducted at Mt. Sinai Hospital, and is funded by a grant from the National Institute of Health.

This project is being conducted through Teachers College at Columbia University and is funded by a grant from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
